If that’s me, I’d be honoured to help you celebrate your big day. For me, it’s all about creating a bespoke ceremony, just for you, so you feel it's your kind of day. Ok, well there may be a little bit of fuss – this day is all about you after all!
It’s a joy to help couples make a life-long commitment to each other. As well as weddings and civil unions I welcome opportunities to create bespoke ceremonies for other big life moments from baby namings to house blessings, celebrating the step to adolescence and more.
For those getting wed, I will help you navigate the steps between “Yes!”, and “I do” – the admin, the legalities, the creation and practice of the event that will be one of the defining days of your life. My job is to help make this as smooth and easy for you as I can. And not just easy, but also fun – it is a celebration after all!
What’s exciting, or scary to some, is there’s no set formula. There are some legal requirements for weddings (which I’ll ensure we cover) but outside of these you can tailor your event however you like. Whether you know every detail already or you’re not even sure where to start, I’ll work with you to create a ceremony that perfectly encapsulates your life event.
I only officiate at one ceremony a day so I can dedicate all my energy to your event. I know that, whatever the ceremony, this is a hugely important day for you and the role of the celebrant can make or break the occasion. So you’ll want to make sure your celebrant is right for you. I might be just the one you’re looking for.

WHERE DO WE START?
The best place to start is the beginning, over a cup of tea, wine or cheese board, where we get to know each other and ensure we’re the right fit for your day. From there, this is what you can expect from me:
> If you’d like me to be your celebrant and officiate your ceremony, we’ll meet in person or via Skype to
discuss your story, your wishes and deal-breakers.
> I’ll write your ceremony based on your wishes. You’ll review this first draft and I’ll revise it until we’re spot on.
> I’ll be available for a rehearsal, if required, and finally...
> The big day (or small day if that’s your desire).
After that, I’ll file any official paperwork to make sure it’s all legal.

about Me
WORDSMITH, STORYTELLER, PARTY ENTHUSIAST
I love to talk, love people and love a good story. That’s why I’m so happy to have the chance to craft, share and celebrate the life-changing moments of the people I meet. Being a celebrant is a dream job for me – I get to help you to create the day of your dreams – and be in a room full of love, hope and laughter.
It all kicked off for me when my friends asked me to be their celebrant. I was flattered and a little daunted with the responsibility. But I took a deep breath and jumped in. And I loved it. A courtyard overlooking the Mediterranean brimming with love and excitement, with wonderful words, tears of joy, laughter, music and sunshine. Not to mention the flowers and fabulous frocks. What’s not to love? It was also a profound experience, sending me in a new direction.
I realised being a celebrant could be hugely satisfying, adding more joy and meaning to my own life. However, helping to shape these big life moments is a big responsibility. So I trained at The Celebrant School where I had a wonderful grounding in all the legal, logistical and emotional aspects of ceremony. Not just weddings but naming ceremonies, life transitions and any other big change.
